Launch of New Ultrafyn DK™ Product Line

April 17, 2000, New York -- Advanced Meditech International, Inc. (AMI)  today announced the introduction of it's new line of high-quality, resposable diamond blades, Ultrafyn DK™. 

For over 20 years, diamond knives have been used to make ultra-delicate cuts in soft tissue and organs, especially eyes. Their minutely fine edges cut more cleanly and create less damage at the cellular level than steel blades. Until now, many physicians couldn't use diamond blades because they simply cost too much. Curtis Lenox, AMI's CEO, said, "Ultrafyn DK™ is a breakthrough concept. Ultrafyn DK™ gives physicians all the benefits of diamond blades for less than US$500.00." He added that, "since the handles are reusable, when the blade is eventually used up, the physician doesn't even have to buy another handle. He or she simply replaces the blade."
