Core Values

Core beliefs reflect people's deep convictions about the types of actions that will lead to personal and corporate success. Among other things, they are about mutual respect, constant efforts to improve, how and what type of employees to hire, and defining what "doing a great job" means.

All members of the Advanced Meditech International team are free to hold their own ideas, and individual values will vary. Despite this diversity, all members are expected in their work lives to act according to the core beliefs and practices of Advanced Meditech International. Wherever teams work, conflicts are inevitable. However, by acting according to a set of common values, conflicts are minimized and better results are achieved faster.

Here are Advanced Meditech's core values:

  • Be competitive, never give up.

  • Stay tough; tough times never last; tough people do.

  • Fight the feeling of entitlement.

  • Never, ever, use the word "can’t". "Can't" really means "won't." Ask instead, "How can I...."

  • Challenge a person's position, get to the truth.

  • Everything is debatable at all levels.

  • Never be satisfied, strive always to improve.

  • Everything must happen fast, even if there are a thousand small steps.

  • Influence others, get in their face, do not let your ideas die because of bureaucracy or an authority figure.

  • Take risks; only dead or dying companies do not take risks.

  • Do not accept excuses and do NOT pass them on to the team.

  • Be first to the market with new product concepts.

Teamwork

Team Rules of Engagement

The rules of engagement are to be followed at all levels. They are the guiding tenets that govern how we work together.

  • Form a team to support an idea, reach a consensus, do it!

  • Challenge the issue, not the person.

  • Always demonstrate mutual respect.

  • Stand up for your position, but never argue against the facts.

  • When a consensus is reached by a team, support it.

  • A team above can veto a decision from a team below.

  • A team below can argue and debate a decision from above, but can not veto it.

  • Consider all options.

  • Challenge the status quo.

  • A person of authority shall not micro-manage.

  • Allow yourself the opportunity to seriously consider opposing views.

  • Stay lean and mean.

  • Need vs. want.

  • Lose the word’s "I" and "They" once a consensus is reached.

  • Never lobby another team against your teams’ decision.
